Zero-week starts with intro-sessions for PhD courses

The Doctoral School launches Academic Year 2015-2016 with its traditional Zero-week sessions, taking place on Monday and Tuesday, 14-15 September. As every year, the Zero-week offers a glimpse into the PhD-level courses that are offered for our students throughout the year.

The Doctoral School’s searchable course database has been updated with the latest PhD courses, while curriculum and schedules are also available.

Course descriptions for Academic Year 2015-2016 have now been published by the Doctoral School of Political Science, Public Policy and International Relations. More than 20 PhD-level courses are listed on the School’s website with their short descriptions, with syllabi also available for courses running in the Fall semester.

The PhD-level course offerings for the next Academic Year can be downloaded from the Doctoral School website since 1 July.

The Doctoral School of Political Science, Public Policy and International Relations has published its tentative curriculum and Fall semester course schedules for the Doctoral Program in Political Science, for the Academic Year of 2015-2016. The curriculum lists all PhD-level courses offered by the School throughout the Academic Year, while the Fall term schedule provides the exact timetable of the different courses.

Doctoral School celebrates thirteen fresh graduates

PhD graduates received their diploma at CEU’s Graduation Ceremony in the Palace of Arts, Budapest.

Academic Year 2014-2015 was marked by an outstanding number of successful doctoral defenses at the Doctoral School of Political Science, Public Policy and International Relations, where thirteen doctoral candidates graduated this year. The fresh graduates, representing all five tracks of the Doctoral School, received their diploma at CEU’s spectacular Graduation Ceremony in the Palace of Arts, Budapest, on 21 June 2015.

CEU Ranks 29th in Politics and International Studies in QS World University Rankings

CEU's Political Science, Public Policy and International Relations programs were declared to be the 29th best in the world according to the QS World University Rankings. The newly published ranking is another important indicator recognizing the high academic quality of our Master's and PhD programs in the field.
