Michael Dorsch is an applied economist whose research and teaching interests are mainly in political economics and public economics.  Employing formal theoretical modeling and data-driven empirical investigation, Michael's research has appeared in leading academic journals across the quantitative social sciences.  Current working papers and past publications can be accessed from the Research page of his personal website.

In 2019/20, Michael is teaching Applied Regression Analysis and Public Sector Economics for the School of Public Policy, as well as Domestic Politics in the Global Economy for the Doctoral School.  He is also currently serving as the director of the MPA program for the School of Public Policy.
