Academic background:
My research focuses on the design and implementation of DDR programs by local civil society organizations. In Winter and Spring 2020 I was a visiting fellow at the Kroc Institute for International Peace at the University of Notre Dame. I hold a Master's degree in International Politics-International Relations from the University of Manchester, United Kingdom. During which, research on Development, US Foreign Policy, State-building, Civil Society, and Transitional Justice. I collaborated with the British Academy in Lebanon as a Lecturer in Cardiff Metropolitan University’s programme in Lebanon teaching modules on International Political Economy and Business and Human Rights.

Work experience:
I worked as the Programs Coordinator for the Samir Kassir Eyes (SKeyes) Center for Media and Cultural Freedom at the Samir Kassir Foundation in Lebanon focusing on the freedom of expression and the protection of journalists in Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, and Palestine. I also worked as a Research Coordinator at the Arab NGO Network for Development.
