TURNING PAPERS INTO PUBLICATION - workshop
Date: 7 April 2011
Venue: FT 909
Topic: Many PhD students dread writing for publication and postpone publishing their work until the very end of their PhD studies (possibly even after they have defended their dissertation), until they feel they have “figured it all out”. Once they have completed the dissertation, however, they find that it is extremely difficult to cut down their 200+ pages to article length. In this session Reka is going to talk about how to resolve this dilemma and how to start publishing your work as you progress towards completing your PhD research, simply by using the papers you produce during your studies.
Speaker: Reka Futasz (Center for Academic Writing)
