In its 12th year, the ECPR’s Summer School in Methods and Techniques will be returning to Central European University’s Department of Political Science in Budapest. The School continues to offer up-to-date methods training, across a mixture of three day refresher and one and two week courses, over a two and a half week period, all delivered by expert Instructors and supported by dedicated Teaching Assistants.
The Summer School forms part of the ECPR's Methods School, which aims to deliver a holistic methods training package across two schools, each offering cutting-edge courses in the full span of qualitative and quantitative topics. While the academic content of the School is designed to provide scholars with the methodological skill set vital to a research career, an exciting plenary programme provides many opportunities to establish all-important networks. The course content of the Summer School is designed to complement that of its sister event, the ECPR Winter School in Methods and Techniques, which takes place in 3-10 March 2017, at the University of Bamberg’s Graduate School of Social Sciences.
Central European University offers a fantastic mix of beautiful buildings, plenty of space for networking, great facilities and an unbeatable city-centre location. We look forward to bringing the Summer School to CEU for the second time.
The full course list and registration information will be published shortly; please subscribe to the mailing lists in MyECPR to ensure you receive the latest updates on this event via email.
