Michael Dorsch is an applied economist whose research and teaching interests are mainly in political economics and public economics.  Employing formal theoretical modeling and data-driven empirical investigation, Michael's research has appeared in leading academic journals across the quantitative social sciences.  Current working papers and past publications can be accessed from the Research page of his personal website.

In Fall 2020, Michael is teaching Economic Analysis for Public Policy (MA) and Domestic Politics in the Global Economy (PhD) at the Vienna campus.

In Winter and Spring 2021, Michael will be on leave from CEU and will serve as visiting professor at Université Paris II Panthéon-Assas and visiting fellow at the Aix-Marseille School of Economics (holder of the chair AMSE/IMéRA "un monde en crise").
