New CEU Doctoral School website presents new features, user-friendly interface and revised information to users within and outside CEU.
The Doctoral School of Political Science, Public Policy and International Relations (DSPS) has launched its new, redesigned website on Tuesday. The School’s updated webpage received several new features, including a searchable course database connected to CEU’s course hub, a dynamic list of the profiles of faculty members associated with the School, and a new set of sub-pages for the tracks and specializations of the doctoral program.
A more transparent and user-friendly website structure was introduced, making it easier for users both within and outside CEU to find the information they are looking for. The various menu structures of the old website have been consolidated into one hierarchically constructed, simple drop-down menu system, supporting easy navigation on the site.
The redesign also included a complete revision of the information available on the website, fixing several errors that compromised the old DSPS site. The description of the Doctoral Program has been updated based on the latest modifications in the Doctoral Regulations, and new, detailed information has been published on several sub-sites to provide comprehensive, practical information about the Doctoral School to its current and future affiliates.
“We hope that this new website will fulfill its role to become the face of a dynamic, lively and constantly developing academic community, the Doctoral School of Political Science, Public Policy and International Relations” – said Erin Jenne, head of the Doctoral School after the website launch. With its updated design, the School’s website has joined a series of updated CEU unit websites, many of which received a facelift currently, now having a design that is not only user-friendly, but also more pleasing to the eye.
