Welcome to the Doctoral School of Political Science, Public Policy and International Relations!
As the Doctoral School Director, I am happy to welcome you to our website.
We are a vibrant academic community that includes more than 30 permanent faculty members and over 100 doctoral researchers. The School brings together the research and teaching capacities of three university units: the Department of Political Science, the Department of International Relations, and the Department of Public Policy. As such, we are committed to pursuing cross-disciplinary teaching and research that aims to train new scholars who are working at the cutting edge of a number of fields, including political economy, comparative politics, public policy, international relations, international security, political theory, and network science, using a range of quantitative and qualitative methods.
The Doctoral School awards a Doctoral (PhD) Degree in Political Science. Our mission is to contribute to the development of a new generation of scholars with the theoretical and methodological skills to shape what we know about politics, public policy, and governance--both within and outside of Europe.
We strongly encourage applications from aspiring academics who wish to pursue their PhD studies in a highly cosmopolitan and inclusive setting in one of the most beautiful and exciting cities in the world.
