In 2019, I joined the Doctoral School of Political Science, Public Policy and International Relations (DSPS) in the Political Economy Track. I carry out research in the field of European integration, with a specific focus on financial markets. Initially, my work investigated the ealry years of financial integration, precisely the Financial Service Action Plan (FSAP) and the road towards the Capital Markets Union (CMU). Lately, I have set the focus of my dissertation on macroprudential policy in the banking sector, investigating the political tenability of the system for small Eurozone economies - precisely Central Eastern Europe.
Over the past four years at CEU, I served as teaching assistant in four courses at both the MA and the BA level, ranging from the fundamentals of Comparative and International Political Economy to Public Policy Evaluation. Furthermore, I have been member of the Political Economy Research Group (PERG) steering committee as well as assistant editor at Review of Democracy (RevDem) - the online journal issued by the CEU Democracy Institute (DI).
