Ivana is a doctoral candidate in the Public Policy track. Her research lies at the intersection between development and governance, with a particular emphasis on development aid. Her dissertation delves into aid allocation, donor competition, and the effects of Chinese aid on recipient countries’ governance in Southeastern Europe. Prior to PhD, Ivana completed her MA at Central European University, supported by the SEE Graduate Scholarship from the Institute for Human Sciences (IWM). Alongside PhD project, Ivana is engaged as a research consultant, supporting a study evaluating the DG REFORM's technical support to Member States.
