Kristina Vasić is a PhD student in political theory at the Doctoral School of Political Science, Public Policy and International Relations. Her research focuses on the implications of unequal (political, economic) power for social equality and freedom. The unequal political power she is particularly interested in is one characteristic of representative democracy. The unequal economic power she focuses on is the economic, dominating power of capital over labor under capitalist mode of production.
She was a guest researcher at Leiden University's Institute of Philosophy as well as at the University of Minho's Centre for Ethics, Politics and Society (CEPS).
Her research interests further include economic democracy (especially the organization of labor in cooperatives and workers' councils) and structural injustice.
