Michael Dorsch is an applied economist whose research and teaching interests are mainly in political economics and public economics. Employing formal theoretical modeling and data-driven empirical investigation, Michael's research has appeared in leading academic journals across the quantitative social sciences. In Fall 2020, Michael is planning to teach Economic Analysis for Public Policy and Domestic Politics in the Global Economy. He is also currently serving as the director of the MPA program for the School of Public Policy.
In Winter and Spring 2021, Michael will be on leave from CEU and will serve as visiting professor at Université Panthéon-Assas (Paris 2) and visiting researcher at the Aix-Marseille School of Economics.
