I am a PhD student in political theory at the Doctoral School of Political Science, Public Policy, and International Relations at Central European University. My research focuses on work ethics, with a particular interest in the distribution of burdensome or so-called "bad" work—tasks that are essential to society but often undesirable and unequally distributed. I critically examine the current work distribution system and explore possibilities for a more just redistribution of necessary but burdensome labour. More broadly, I am also interested in questions of distributive justice, gender justice, and global justice.
Before joining CEU, I had my undergraduate degree in Journalism from Shandong University in China and worked as a journalist for five years. This experience deeply shaped my concern for justice and motivated my transition into political philosophy. I had my first master’s degree at Tilburg University in philosophy of humanity and culture, and my second master’s degree at CEU in philosophy.
