"PhD studies at the DSPS were a unique and formative experience. I had a great working relation with my supervisor and was involved in an externally-funded research project together with my fellow students and faculty members. As PhD students, we discussed our work in progress not only at departmental seminars, but also during the Political Economy Research Group meetings and at workshops that we held jointly with leading educational institutions in Europe. The program helped me develop the skills I use in my work as researcher and lecturer. It also taught me to think critically and question seemingly obvious explanations. I am profoundly grateful to CEU for that."
