The next academic practice workshop will be held on November 25th from 17.20 - 19.00 in FT 609.
This academic workshop will be devoted to teaching skills. In an open roundtable discussion we will talk about different aspects of academic teaching: How does good teaching look like? Can you learn this? How can we deliver teaching of high quality under other pressures such as need or the need to educate masses of students? The workshop will also answer your questions that could help you to enhance your teaching skills.
The participants of the roundtable will be:
Thomas Fetzer, IRES
Achim Kemmerling, head of the Doctoral School
Carsten Schneider, Department of Political Science
and Joanna Renc Roe, from CEU's Center for Teaching and Learning
The roundtable will be chaired by Renata Kralikova, PhD candidate at DPP.
The workshop will be followed from 19.30 by informal discussions in Most dealing with, teaching, studying, life in general.
