Cornelia is a PhD candidate in Public Policy at the Doctoral School of Political Science, Public Policy, and International Relations at Central European University (CEU). She holds a BSc in Political Science focused on Security and Crisis Management from the Swedish Defense University, Stockholm, and a MA in European Union Studies from Paris Lodron Universität Salzburg, Salzburg.
Her research interests include European defense policies, international defense collaboration and crisis management, and EU-NATO relations. Her dissertation topic aims to understand the process of defence industrial integration within the EU and how the war in Ukraine potentially may foster a more integration European defence industry, as well as contributing to our knowledge on the role of the defence industry in this development.
