Cornelia is a PhD candidate in Public Policy at the Doctoral School of Political Science, Public Policy, and International Relations at Central European University (CEU). She holds a BSc in Political Science focused on Security and Crisis Management from the Swedish Defense University, Stockholm, and a MA in European Union Studies from Paris Lodron Universität Salzburg, Salzburg.
Cornelia's research interests include European defense policies, international defense collaboration and procurement, and EU-NATO relations. Her dissertation topic aims to understand the different dynamics of European defense industrial integration since the start of the war in Ukraine, particularly focusing on the role of defense firms in this process.
